On the journey

We`ll stay

at beautiful Banyan Camp . I was a guest there for a sacred journey and totally fell in love. So to have Banyan as our home is a great privilege. They describe themselves an off the grid, eco-retreat in deep rural Sri Lanka. The area around Banyan Camp is sparsely populated, rugged country. Our closest neighbours are birds, butterflies, elephants, buffalo and so on. In other words, the perfect place to journey through the elements.

We `ll nourish the body

with local sourced, traditional Sri Lankan food, prepared by women from the village. The food is directly tied to the culture. Often “rice&curry” will be mentioned when talking about traditional Sri Lankan for. Rise&ciurry is vast, and there is a vide variety to choose from, thanks to the islands abundance. And let’s not forget that we`ll be in incredible surroundings.

We`ll practice

in nature, through nature, to nature -everyday. There is a beautiful shala where we`ll do our movement practices, we´ll gather around the fire for storytelling and music, we`ll dance with the lake and visit ancient trees.We will leave our offerings, with the intention to remember what has been forgotten, and join in the sacred dance of life.

The day in the journey will look something like;

8am: Meditation/movement exploration/offerings

10am: Breakfast with a view

12pm: Adventure/offering/workshops

2.30pm: Lunch

5.30pm; Cacao expansion

8.00pm; Dinner

9pm; We gather around the fire

All practices are rooted in the elements.
